From a three-person team to an international player

25 years of electroplating plant engineering

All beginnings are difficult, as the saying goes. Nevertheless, the company, which was founded in January 1998, was converted to the status of a limited liability company just 3 years later. The sole proprietorship became Oberflächen- & Elektrotechnik Scheigenpflug GmbH, or OTE for short. Today, the company has 14 employees, including four trainees.

Saving resources, environmental protection and flexibility are not modern buzzwords, although they are more important than ever. In turbulent times, reliable partners are needed. Thus, as a privately run family business, we continue to support our customers with special solutions – from plant conception to maintenance.

Based on needs analyses, we tailor plant equipment individually to our customers. Our own production at the Leipzig site ensures delivery capability and also enables short-term solutions due to flexible in-house processes.

Since our foundation, we have also been active in the field of plug-and-play equipment in the peripheral area. Matte nickel systems, nickel controllers, ion exchangers for chromium (III), thick-film coatings, passivations and so on are already an integral part of our customers’ production thanks to intensive development work in all areas of electroplating technology and are designed for the tasks of the future.
