The 30th Leipzig Specialist Seminar will take place on March 13, 2025, once again as a joint event of the DGO regional groups of Saxony and Thuringia, at the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL).
From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, attendees can look forward to an exciting and diverse lecture program, featuring highly interesting and innovative approaches to the current challenges in surface technology. The planned topics include:

- Sustainability Aspects in Seals
- Electrical and Mechanical Optimization of Bolted Busbar Connections
- Titration – Routine Analytics in Electroplating and Surface Operations
- Maximizing Energy Efficiency through Heat Recovery
- Effective Fire Protection in Electroplating
- Electronic Pills for Diagnosis and Therapy
The organizers have once again secured Prof. Thomas Lampke (TU Chemnitz) and Dr. Olaf Boehnke (Technical Environmental Protection) as moderators. Both are skilled at delivering stimulating insights during the sessions, sparking lively discussions and engaging both the audience and speakers.
For the Jubilee Event – 30 Years of the Leipzig Specialist Seminar, the organizing team has something special planned. Be surprised on the day of the event!
The accompanying exhibition will again provide a space for information, exchange of experiences, and customer discussions on-site. The organizers hope for strong participation in the exhibition again in 2025.
In parallel to the seminar, the Z and Intec trade fairs, which focus on machine and plant engineering, the automotive industry, and toolmaking, as well as surface technology, invite attendees to visit.
